Who We Are and What We Believe
We consider ourselves to be apart of the universal church and trace our roots back to Jesus Christ, His apostles, and His prophets. Our authority is Jesus Christ who is the head of the church and our instruction manual is the Holy Bible which is the inspired Word of God.
We are independent and have local autonomy. We loosely associate with other Christian Churches. However, we consider ourselves to belong to Christ alone and not to any denomination or group.
We believe that Jesus Christ is manís only Savior and that believing in Him is the Saving Act.
We believe that every Christian is to practice the command of Jesus given in John 13:34 to love one another even as He loved us, thus revealing to the world that we are truly Jesusí disciples.
We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God and given by Him to bring men and women to a place of personal faith in Jesus Christ.
We do not see the Bible as just a historical book sharing with us what God has done in the past, but we see it as the present means of communicating Godís plan of salvation to man and as spiritual food for the nourishment of the believer providing the power of God to work in and through our lives in the present.
One of the most important things for us to communicate to those reading this is that The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are all presently active amongst people of faith and are working miracles on a daily basis throughout the world. We strongly believe the truth conveyed by the author of Hebrews in Hebrews 13:8: ďJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.Ē NKJV
Membership: You can become a member of our assembly in one of three ways:
By faith, repentance, confession, and baptism in our church.
By sending or authorizing a letter of transfer of membership from another church where you were an active member.
Having believed and been baptized elsewhere you can identify with us by coming forward at an assembly of the church and making the good confession: ďI believe that Jesus is the Christ , the Son of the living God, and manís only Savior.Ē
